Discover the Kit France slatted bed base, the ideal solution for lovers of quality solid wood bed bases made in France. With over two decades of experience, ABC MEUBLES offers you a slatted bed base that is both solid and comfortable.

Made from solid Landes pine, this slatted bed base is designed for remarkable durability. It is reinforced by three crosspieces and equipped with four 20 cm high feet, 6 cm in diameter, and a central foot to guarantee perfect stability for your 160x200 solid wood bed. Changing the height of these components would compromise the stability of the furniture and invalidate any warranty in the event of a defect. The multi-ply slats, 53 mm wide and 8 mm thick, ensure optimum comfort.

The Kit France slatted bed base is available in six colours, to match any style of decoration. All our water-based varnishes are environmentally-friendly and solvent-free, with no VOC emissions, ensuring a healthy sleeping environment.  For certain finishes, such as raw and natural varnish, you'll notice that some wooden parts of our slatted bed base are finger-jointed.

ATTENTION : this 160x200 slatted base does not have a frame for the mattress, which rests directly on it. We therefore recommend that you check that your mattress complies with the standard dimensions and conforms to EN 1334.
In accordance with standard EN 1334, the actual dimensions of mattresses and box springs without built-in frames must be 0 to 2 cm smaller than the reference dimensions given. 
For example, for the standard size 160x200, it is normal for the actual dimensions to be 158x198 cm.

We recommend our Montana mattress, with its excellent ratio of body support to elasticity, to complement your 160x200 wooden double bed.

If you prefer a solid wood bed with flush-mount, we recommend the Noé model, which includes a 3 cm edge.

The Kit France 2-seater slatted bed base is also available in sizes 140x190 cm and 140x200 cm.
