The Kit France slatted bed base is the perfect choice for those looking for a top quality solid wood bed base, made in France. With over 20 years' experience in the manufacture of bed bases, ABC MEUBLES puts all its know-how and expertise at your disposal to offer you a slatted bed base that is both robust and comfortable.

This slatted bed base is distinguished by its solid Landes pine construction, guaranteeing not only robustness but also optimum durability over time. To reinforce its solidity, the slatted bed base is equipped with three crosspieces, four feet measuring 20 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter, and a central foot for excellent stability. Increasing the height of the legs is risky, as it could alter the structure and void the warranty. Its 53mm wide, 8mm thick multi-ply slats are specially designed for optimum comfort. 

The Kit France solid wood bed is available in a choice of 6 colours to match any interior style. All our varnishes are water-based (unvarnished finish), environmentally friendly, solvent-free and free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). This guarantees a healthy sleeping environment for you and your family. For certain finishes, such as unfinished and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our slatted bed base are finger-jointed.

ATTENTION : this 140x190 slatted base does not have a frame for the mattress, which rests directly on it. We therefore recommend that you check that your mattress complies with the standard dimensions and conforms to EN 1334.
In accordance with standard EN 1334, the actual dimensions of mattresses and box springs without built-in frames must be 0 to 2 cm smaller than the reference dimensions given. 
For example, for the standard size 140x190, it is normal for the actual dimensions to be 138x188 cm.

For those who prefer a slatted bed base with a mattress insert, we also offer the Noé model, which has a 3 cm edge. 

The Kit France 2-seater slatted bed base is also available in 140x200 and 160x200 cm.
