Our slatted bed bases are made from solid pine wood from the Landes region, sourced from sustainably managed forests, known for its strength and aesthetics. The metal fittings and slat ends come from Maine-et-Loire, the varnishes from Sarthe, and the packaging cartons from Calvados.

This varies depending on the version you choose:

  • - The Kit France model has no recess; the mattress simply rests on the structure, so that 2 slatted bases can be glued together without a "hole" between the 2 mattresses.
  • - The Kit Noé has a slight recess of 3 cm, giving the mattress greater stability.
  • - The twin beds are designed without a recess to enable two sleeping surfaces to be assembled (without a "hole" between the 2 mattresses).

⚠️ Remember to choose a mattress that complies with the EN1334 standard (for slat beds without an inlay): its actual dimensions may be 1 to 2 cm smaller than the advertised dimensions, which is perfectly normal.

Yes, all our slatted bed bases can be ordered raw (only sanded, to be varnished by you) or protected with a solvent-free water-based varnish mixed with natural pigments, ensuring bedroom furniture that respects your health and the environment.
