The Kit France slat bed is a robust, eco-friendly solution for a comfortable night's sleep. Our Kit France slat bed is made in France from solid Landes pine, and stands out for its manufacturing quality and commitment to the environment. Designed to last, it incorporates three solid wood crosspieces that provide extra stability and a solid base for your mattress.

The multi-ply slats, of the wooden bed with slats, are 53 mm wide and 8 mm thick, and are designed to provide even, consistent support. They distribute the weight evenly, contributing to the durability of your mattress while improving sleeping comfort. This model is ideal for those looking to combine quality, longevity and well-being.

At ABC Meubles, respect for the environment is a priority. That's why the Kit France slatted base is coated with an eco-friendly water-based varnish that contains no solvents or volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. This natural treatment means that the slat base is not only safe for your health, but also respects the planet. For certain finishes, such as raw and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our slat bed are finger-jointed.

ATTENTION : this 90x200 slatted base does not have a frame for the mattress, which rests directly on it. We therefore recommend that you check that your mattress complies with the standard dimensions and conforms to EN 1334.
In accordance with standard EN 1334, the actual dimensions of mattresses and box springs without built-in frames must be 0 to 2 cm smaller than the reference dimensions given. 
For example, for the standard size 90x200, it is normal for the actual dimensions to be 88x198 cm.

The slat bed is available in a range of sizes, including 80x190, 90x190 and 80x200 cm, and comes in six different finishes to match your decor. Whether you prefer a raw, natural or stained finish, you're bound to find a slat bed to suit your bedroom. Thanks to its 20 cm legs and central support, this wooden bed base provides secure support. Using taller legs may affect the strength of the furniture, and the warranty may not apply in the event of damage.

If you want to combine two slatted bases for a twin bed, a binder foot is available as an option. Finally, for those who prefer a built-in mattress, the Noé slat base offers an interesting alternative with a 3 cm edge.
