Made in France, our slatted bed bases are crafted in our workshops in Normandy from solid pine from sustainably managed forests. Each solid wood slatted bed base is finished with a meticulous, environmentally-friendly, VOC-free water-based varnish.

The 90x200 cm slat bed offers a spacious single bed, perfect for those looking for a little extra comfort. This length is ideal for tall people or simply to enjoy a generous sleeping space.

Of course, we offer a wide range of sizes: 70x190, 80x190, 80x200, 90x190, 140x190, 140x200 and 160x200 cm. We also offer twin slat bed to combine two single beds into a double bed to suit your needs.

Our slat beds are made from solid wood from the Landes region, a species renowned for its robustness and aesthetic appeal. The screws and assembly parts come from Maine-et-Loire, the finishes are applied with water-based varnishes made in Sarthe, and the packaging cartons are produced in Normandy.

It all depends on the model you choose:

  • - With the Kit France, the base has no mattress insert: the mattress rests edge to edge.
  • - The Noé Kit has a 3 cm mattress insert for secure mattress support.
  • - The twin versions do not include a recess, to make it easier to convert into a double bed.

💡 Remember to check the dimensions of your mattress (especially for a slatted base without an insert). The measurements may be slightly smaller than those advertised (EN1334 standard), which is perfectly normal.

Yes, we offer several options: opt for a “raw” piece of bedroom furniture that you can personalise yourself, or select a model varnished with a natural product that contains no solvents (water and natural pigments), which is kind to the environment and your health.
