Discover the Kit France slat bed, designed to offer optimal sleeping comfort and remarkable durability. Made in France from solid Landes pine, this slat bed combines sturdiness and aesthetics, while complying with strict environmental standards. Thanks to its three solid wood crosspieces, it guarantees increased stability, providing a solid base for all types of mattress.

The 53 mm wide, 8 mm thick multi-ply slats are specially designed to provide even, balanced support. They provide ideal weight distribution, making your mattress last longer and improving the quality of your sleep. This slat bed is ideal for those looking for both comfort and durability.

As far as the environment is concerned, ABC Meubles uses environmentally-friendly finishes with a water-based varnish (except raw finish = sanded wood without varnish) that contains no solvents or VOCs (volatile organic compounds). This guarantees a healthy wooden bed base for your bedroom while protecting the planet.

ATTENTION : this 80x200 slatted base does not have a frame for the mattress, which rests directly on it. We therefore recommend that you check that your mattress complies with the standard dimensions and conforms to EN 1334.
In accordance with standard EN 1334, the actual dimensions of mattresses and box springs without built-in frames must be 0 to 2 cm smaller than the reference dimensions given. 
For example, for the standard size 80x200, it is normal for the actual dimensions to be 78x198 cm.

The Kit France slat bed is available in standard sizes such as 80x190, 90x190 and 90x200 cm. Our wooden bed with slats comes in six different finishes, so you can match it to your interior design, whether modern or traditional. Supplied with four legs measuring 20 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter, our slat bed also ensures that the mattress is well ventilated, promoting hygiene. We advise against increasing the height of the legs, as this would weaken the furniture and void its warranty.

For those who want to use two slatted bases side by side, you can add a connecting leg to create a practical and comfortable twin bed. Finally, if you're looking for a slat bed with a recess for the mattress, ABC Meubles' Noé model, with its 3 cm edge, could be just what you're looking for.
