Made from solid pine from French forests, this futon bed guarantees optimum sturdiness while respecting the environment. Its base rests on four sturdy square legs and two additional central legs, providing extra stability and comfort for a restful night's sleep.

The 10 cm solid wood edge is particularly handy for placing items such as your phone or glasses before you go to sleep. This feature adds a practical touch to the furniture's elegant design. Available in six finishes using water-based varnishes, the Solido futon bed is free from solvents and VOCs, making it a healthy product that respects your home. Gross = sanded wood only, no varnish.

For certain finishes, such as gross and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our futon bed are finger-jointed.

The Solido futon bed has a wooden slatted base with 36 8 mm thick multi-ply slats, providing even, solid support for your mattress. Thanks to an 8 cm recess, the mattress is held firmly in place, providing perfect stability throughout the night.

If you have a smaller bedroom or would like a smaller futon bed, our 140x190 cm and 140x200 cm versions are also available. The Solido wooden double bed is compatible with all standard mattresses, with no limit on thickness. We recommend that you choose a mattress that complies with the EN1334* standard for an optimum fit. Brand to avoid with this base: Emma. The 18 cm thick Montana mattress is a perfect choice to accompany this futon bed.
