Our platform bed features an ingenious design that allows the mattress to fit perfectly into the solid wood frame. This guarantees total stability, preventing the mattress from shifting during the night and ensuring uninterrupted sleep.
The 140x200 platform bed is also a remarkable example of sustainability and respect for the environment. Our platform bed is made from solid pine from the Landes region of France, sourced from sustainably managed forests, which ensures not only exceptional strength but also reduced environmental impact. The water-based varnish used for the finish is entirely environmentally friendly and poses no health risk. You can choose from six different finishes to personalise the platform bed to suit the style of your bedroom and your desires. Note that for the ‘gross’ finish, the wood is not varnished, only sanded.
The structure of the wooden double bed is designed to offer unrivalled solidity. With a sturdy central foot and four square legs, the platform bed is supported by three wooden cross-beams for maximum stability. This design allows the bed to withstand intensive use while providing optimum sleeping comfort for restful nights.
To complete your 140x200 platform bed, we recommend the 18 cm thick Montana Mattress, which provides optimum support and superior comfort for restful nights.
For certain finishes, such as gross and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our solid wood bed are finger-jointed.
If you prefer other dimensions, we also offer alternative sizes in 140x190 or 160x200 cm. Choose a 140x200 platform bed for the perfect blend of comfort, durability and style.
