What's more, the varnish used is water-based, making it totally environmentally friendly and harmless to your health. Our platform bed comes in 6 different finishes (‘gross’ finish = no varnish), so you can choose the one that best matches the style of your bedroom. 

The 140x190 platform bed stands out for its solidity. The platform bed is designed to withstand the most intensive use thanks to its reinforced structure. Supported by a sturdy central leg and four solid square legs, it is connected by three wooden cross-members, guaranteeing optimum stability. This design not only ensures unbeatable durability, but also unrivalled sleeping comfort.

To complete your solid wood bed, we recommend our Montana Mattress in 18 cm thick foam. This mattress offers optimum support and enhanced comfort, so you can enjoy peaceful, restorative nights. 

For certain finishes, such as gross and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our platform bed are finger-jointed.
