First of all, you should know that the 90x200 cm model (Sylvia) can only be accessed from the long sides. For sizes from 120x200 cm, you can place the access on the long or short sides, on the left or right.

The choice of access for your high sleeper bed is crucial, depending on the space you have available and your specific needs. To maximise storage space, a cube staircase with drawer options is recommended and can be configured as a quarter turn if required. For smaller spaces, a standard ladder may be more suitable. The Alpage model offers a fixed ladder, while the Sylvia model lets you choose between an inclined ladder or a miller's staircase.

The dimensions of a children's high sleeper bed should be adapted to the surface area of the bedroom, but also to the age of your child.

For the youngest children, opt for a half-height model, for example, which will allow you to make the bed easily and will be easier to access. Choose a ladder that your child can climb safely: a sloping ladder or even a cube staircase that can also be used for storage. If you want your child to enjoy their high sleeper bed for many years to come, you can also choose a model with adjustable height. The Sylvia model has a basic floor height of 158.5 cm, giving a sleeping height of 178.7 cm (with 18 cm mattress), with the option of extending to 183.5 cm, giving a sleeping height of 203.7 cm (with 18 cm mattress). For the Alpage model, you have a choice of three sleeping heights: 162 cm (sleeping height with an 18cm thick mattress: 182.2cm), 172 cm (sleeping height with an 18cm thick mattress: 192.2cm), or 182 cm (sleeping height with an 18cm thick mattress: 202.2cm). You can select the desired height during assembly and adjust it later if you wish.

Depending on the model of high sleeper bed, the required ceiling height may vary. For the Sylvia model, you'll need a space of 250 cm for the standard version, and 275 cm for the raised version. With the Alpage model, a 270 cm ceiling is required to place the floor at its highest level.
