How do I determine the type of access for my teenage high sleeper bed?
For the high sleeper bed 120x200 cm upwards, you can position the access on the long or short side, on the left or right. For the 90x200 cm model (reference Sylvia), access is only possible on the long side, on the left or right.
If you're short of storage space, a cube staircase with various storage options, including drawers, is a good solution. This staircase can also be configured with a quarter-turn. For more compact spaces, a standard ladder is preferable. The Alpage model offers a fixed ladder, while the Sylvia model lets you choose between an inclined ladder or a miller's staircase.
How do I choose a teenage high sleeper bed?
First of all, assess the space you have available. Measure the ceiling height and floor space to make sure the teenage high sleeper bed will fit perfectly in your room. Make sure there's enough room to get in and out of the bed safely.
Check the load capacity of the teenage high sleeper bed. Our Sylvia models can support up to 150 kg for sizes 90x200 cm and up to 250 kg for sizes 120x200 and more. The Alpage model can support up to 280 kg.
Safety is paramount, especially for children. All our high sleeper beds comply with safety standards, and have sloping ladders and cubic staircases for easy access. Please note that our high sleeper beds are not suitable for children under the age of 6.

For the Alpage model, you can choose from three floor heights: 162 cm (sleeping height with an 18cm thick mattress: 182.2cm), 172 cm (sleeping height with an 18cm thick mattress: 192.2cm) or 182 cm (sleeping height with an 18cm thick mattress: 202.2cm). This flexibility means you can set the height at the time of assembly and change it later if you change your mind.

The ceiling height required depends on the model you choose. For the Sylvia model, you'll need a ceiling height of 250 cm for the standard version and 275 cm for the raised version. For the Alpage model, a height of 270 cm is required if you want to position the floor as high as possible.
