Your questions

The method of access to your bed depends on both the model you choose and your layout constraints.

For loft beds from 120x200 cm upwards, you are free to choose the orientation of the access: on the long side or the short side, on the left or the right. This allows you to adapt the installation to your room.

On the other hand, the Sylvia 90x200 bed can only be accessed from the long side, either left or right.

There are several options for access:

  • - Cube staircase with integrated storage modules, ideal if you're short of storage space. It can be configured in a quarter-turn version to suit more complex spaces.
  • - Inclined ladder, compact and practical, perfect for small spaces.
  • - A miller's staircase, a compromise between the two previous types of access.

First of all, take precise measurements of your room. It's essential to check the height under the ceiling, as well as the floor space required for easy movement.

Next, consider the high sleeper bed's load capacity:

  • - Sylvia supports up to 250 kg for the 2-seater versions and up to 150 kg for the 1-seater versions.
  • - Alpage is even more robust, with a load capacity of up to 280 kg.

Make sure your bed is safe too. All our models comply with current standards and are not recommended for children under 6.

All our raised beds are designed and manufactured entirely in France, in our workshop in Normandy. This local manufacturing enables us to guarantee recognised quality, complete traceability and an ecological approach thanks to short supply chains.

Here are the origins of the materials we use:

  • - Solid wood (pine): Landes forests (around 700 km)
  • - Hardware: Cholet (230 km)
  • - Water-based varnish: Sillé-le-Guillaume (80 km)
  • - Packaging: Cabourg (80 km)

By favouring French suppliers, we limit unnecessary transport and help to promote local know-how.

Yes, some models are designed to offer an adjustable sleeping height, depending on your needs or the evolution of your layout.

  • For the Sylvia model:
  • Height under standard floor: 158.5 cm (sleeping height with 18 cm mattress: 178.7 cm)
  • With raised option: 183.5 cm under floor (i.e. 203.7 cm sleeping height with 18 cm mattress)
  • For the Alpage model :
  • This model offers exceptional flexibility, without the need to order a specific option:
  • Three assembly heights available: 162, 172 or 182 cm
  • With an 18 cm mattress, this corresponds to sleeping heights of 182.2 cm, 192.2 cm and 202.2 cm.
  • You can change the height later if your needs change.

This depends on the model and configuration you choose. Here are the minimum recommendations:

  • Sylvia standard version: ceiling height of at least 250 cm
  • Sylvia raised version: minimum height of 275 cm
  • Alpage with highest floor: ceiling height 270 cm

These heights ensure that the bed is comfortable to use, with enough space between the ceiling and the mattress to sit on.
