But what exactly is a stackable bed?
A stackable bed is a versatile piece of furniture designed to maximise space in a room, allowing several beds to be stacked when not in use. Ideal for small spaces such as guest rooms, studios or children's bedrooms, this type of bed is a practical solution. By stacking them together, you create a compact unit that facilitates storage and frees up floor space. Each 90x200 stackable bed can be used independently, just like a traditional single bed.
How many beds can I safely stack?
It is recommended that no more than three beds are stacked to ensure stable and safe stacking, with no risk of destabilisation. Sheets can be left in place even when the beds are stacked, but it's best to remove pillows and duvets from the lower beds. You can also rest on all three stacked beds.
Is there a thickness limit for mattresses on a stackable bed?
The 90x200 stackable bed accepts all types of mattress as long as they are no thicker than 16 cm, making stacking easy and safe. Our Marly mattress is specially designed to fit this type of bed. A stackable bed can also be used as a stand-alone bed, which is ideal for rooms with low ceilings or attics.
Are our stacking beds made locally?
Absolutely, we ensure 100% French production in Normandy, favouring local partners to limit CO2 emissions linked to transport. This eco-responsible approach promotes French craftsmanship and supports the circular economy.
