We mainly use solid French pine from sustainably managed forests in the Landes region of France. This wood is strong, light and easy to maintain. It is ideal for the sustainable, local manufacture of our bedroom furniture.

Yes, our wooden double beds are perfectly suited to adults. Their design incorporates solid reinforcements (such as extra cross-members or centre legs) to ensure long-term stability and comfort.

The sleeping height varies according to the model and the type of base chosen. In general, our 2-seater beds are between 20 and 30 cm high (excluding the mattress), for easy access and a sleek style.

A wooden double bed made in France

Our wooden double bed is made entirely in France to limit our carbon footprint. Our team works closely with suppliers in the surrounding regions, reducing the pollution associated with transporting goods. What's more, production waste is recovered and processed, for example, scrap wood is reused to make briquettes for heating. ABC Meubles promotes clean Made In France.

Our choices are also a guarantee of reliability for our wooden double beds, without forgetting the diversity to meet your needs. Six of our models are available in three different sizes (140x190 cm, 140x200 cm and 160x200 cm), including the beds in the Viking, Happy and ARC collections, which are distinguished by their headboards that can be decorated. 6 finishes are available for these 2-seater beds, with water-based and solvent-free varnishes to limit emissions of volatile organic compounds responsible for pollution in the home.

The ARC model also has bedside tables and could catch your eye with its harmonious half-moon-shaped headboard. Need storage? The Cube + Tiroirs wooden double bed, available in sizes 140x200 cm and 160x200 cm, is ideal for maximising space with its eight drawers slid under the bed. ABC Meubles also offers a King Size wooden double bed (200x200 cm), two box springs and twin beds that can be used side by side or separately. The latter product is ideal for hotels, gîtes and guest houses.
