The Malo solid wood trundle bed is the ideal solution for those looking for a practical bed without compromising on comfort. Made from solid Landes pine, this trundle bed is not only robust but also eco-responsible, with materials sourced from sustainably managed forests. Its clever design includes a main bed and an extra bed, perfect for guests or to save space in a small bedroom. The trundle bed comes with a 26 mm thick solid pine headboard and footboard measuring 850x 390 mm, adding a neat finishing touch.
There is a 30 mm gap between the slats and the base to hold the mattress in place, ensuring a stable and comfortable bed. The Malo single bed with pull out bed, with an integrated slatted base comprising 18 multi-ply slats (upper bed) combined with a wooden frame and a metal lower base with 20 slats, offers optimum comfort for a peaceful night's sleep. Our Malo trundle bed is also available in a 90x190 cm version.
The cleverly concealed lower bed can easily be raised to the same height as the upper bed thanks to an automatic leg opening mechanism, transforming the trundle bed into a 160x190 cm double bed or two 80x190 cm single beds. Mounted on castors, it's easy to move around, making it easy to furnish your space.
For the lower bed, we recommend using a mattress with a maximum thickness of 16 cm (see our Marly model), to ensure effortless storage and comfortable use.
The Malo trundle bed is carefully manufactured in our Normandy workshop. In compliance with current safety standards, our pullout bed is designed to ensure the safety of its users. What's more, our commitment to the environment is reflected in the choice of water-based finishes, with no solvents or VOC emissions, available in 6 different shades, offering a healthy and safe environment, particularly suitable for children.
For certain finishes, such as unfinished and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our trundle bed are finger-jointed.
To complete your trundle bed, we offer a suspended bedside table, ideal for keeping books, alarm clocks or other personal items close to hand.
