Made from solid wood in our workshop in Normandy, this wooden double bed (knot-free Landes pine) is ideal for those looking for a solution to optimise space. The robust construction and durability of our double ottoman bed make it a safe choice for long-term use. The slatted base of our 140x200 double bed with storage is reinforced by a central crossbar that separates the two storage spaces, providing added stability.
Our bed with storage is available in six colours (gross: wood sanded without varnish, natural varnish, honey, white, grey and black). What's more, we use a water-based varnish that contains no solvents or VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), guaranteeing a product that's healthy for your family and respectful of the environment. For certain finishes, such as unfinished and natural varnish, you'll notice that some of the wooden parts of our double ottoman bed are finger-jointed.
The bottomless space under the slatted base of the double bed with storage provides optimum ventilation for the mattress. This integrated storage space in our wooden ottoman bed offers discretion and practicality for storing blankets and seasonal clothes, solving space problems in your bedroom. ABC Meubles recommends Montana mattresses to complete the ensemble.
Two powerful hydraulic jacks (2x 1200 Newtons) make opening our ottoman bed simple and efficient. This 140x200 chest bed goes beyond the concept of the traditional bed by transforming a simple piece of sleeping furniture into a multifunctional storage solution, all made from solid wood.

Un lit de qualité, bien fini c est un lit d une vraie qualité avec une planche centrale qui renforce le tout le sommier aussi est de très très bonne qualité. Attention juste à bien lire la notice qui n est pas forcément très claire, surtout pour le montage des vérins, une petite indication sous forme de pastille autocollante sur le vérin pour trouver les bons trous aurait été la bienvenue. Mais à part ça franchement rien à redire. Le lit est top il tient super bien et ne grince pas.

Le lit-coffre 2 places en bois est très bien : confortable, pratique et beau. Nous sommes très contents de notre achat. Un petit bémol sur certains points de la notice de montage. Même en étant attentif, l'erreur n'est pas impossible - or si on se rend compte après avoir mis les lattes qu'une partie du sommier est mal monté, impossible de faire machine arrière ! Bref un avertissement supplémentaire quant au sens de montage et/ou un schéma plus lisible serait appréciés pour le montage du sommier.
