Looking for a raised bed that is attractive, durable and space-saving? The Sylvia single loft bed with straight ladder is a stylish choice for furnishing a bedroom with style and functionality. Made from solid maritime pine sourced from sustainably managed forests in the Landes region of France, this model embodies French know-how and an environmentally friendly approach.

Built to last, this 90x200 cm loft bed has been manufactured in France for over 25 years. It is available in a range of six solid colours (including raw, natural varnish, white, honey, black and grey) as well as a two-tone version to suit any interior. The ‘raw’ finish is sanded, unvarnished wood, for those who want to personalise their furniture or preserve the natural look of the material.

The bed base is made of solid, unvarnished real wood with natural knots that promote mattress ventilation. This prevents moisture build-up and extends the life of your bedding. Visually, the loft bed has no visible screws or knots on the uprights, giving it a clean, refined look.

Some parts of the wood may be finger-jointed, visible on the ‘raw’, ‘natural varnish’ and ‘honey’ finishes: this traditional technique guarantees strength and stability while limiting raw material waste.

This model is equipped with a straight ladder attached with hooks, which can be secured to the structure. Access is exclusively from the long side (left or right, depending on the layout). The height under the bed base frees up a generous amount of floor space, which you can arrange according to your needs: office corner, storage or relaxation area. The Sylvia loft bed is compatible with standard ceiling heights (250 cm) and can be raised up to 225 cm with the raised posts option for higher ceilings (up to 275 cm).

option Poteaux rehausse

The Sylvia loft bed is ideal for small spaces. Unlike our other access options such as the inclined ladder, miller's ladder or cube staircase, it offers access via a space-saving straight ladder (which frees up even more floor space).

For optimal comfort, we recommend an 18 cm thick mattress, such as our Montana model. The maximum height allowed is 22 cm to ensure safety, with a minimum of 16 cm between the top of the mattress and the safety barrier.

Finally, this Sylvia single loft bed complies with current safety standards. However, it is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. It can be raised up to 225 cm with the extended pole option for higher ceilings (up to 275 cm).
